Description
Multiband limiter with correlation detection.
Enthusiastic audiences are, of course, what every business owner likes to see. However, this should not be at the expense of the music. Especially for this, the SPL6 is equipped with correlation detection. The detection compares the music and the measurement. The audience has no more influence on the behavior of the limiter.
The SPL6 is a sound pressure limiter that stores sound pressure data for a period of at least 12 months. This data can be read via the SPL6's internal web page or automatically sent via email. Other data, such as switch-on, exceedances of the maximum level and any (attempted) sabotage are also recorded.
Using the web page, the limiter can be read and adjusted. Thus, no additional software installation is required. A password and installation license are required for adjustment. This only allows other users to view data. The computer or tablet must have an Ethernet port or Wifi connection. If the SPL6 is connected to a local network, or the Internet, then it is possible to read the limiter remotely. This keeps managing and monitoring the equipment fast and clear! The limiter uses a measuring microphone to determine the actual sound pressure level in the venue. When this level threatens to get too loud, the limiter will adjust the level back slightly. As a multiband limiter the SPL6 will first reduce the exceeding frequency(s). This way the level always remains within the permissible limits.
Using the built-in clock, it is possible to divide each day of the week into three parts. For each part of the day, the maximum level can be set separately.
